For those who still don’t get it, it’s a reference to the Mad magazine fold-ins. The very last page of the magazine had a sort of image that would become modified into another image when you folded at the right spots.

You're going to love me.
I’d say stuff like this encouraging readers to make permanent creases would ruin the comic, but I think the comic’s doing a pretty good job of ruining the comic.
