Garbage. Ponies be herbivores. Blood be for carnivores.
Also, there’s a griffon in the sky. Should we tag it “Gilda”?
Yes and no.
Some say it’s because a dog’s tongue is rough and helps to remove contaminants from an open wound and thats why dogs lick people who have been hurt.
Others say saliva contains tissue factor which promotes the blood clotting mechanism along with the enzyme lysozyme.
Remember, this is the internet so any of this information could be false.
But there is a reason why wound licking is an instinctive response.
It wasn’t evolved a million years for no reason.
So being licked by a dog is antiseptic?
Twist: Dash isn’t being nice, she just loves the taste of human blood.
And that is why Rainbow Dash is best pony.
@Pyr0T3ck
Well, pegasi don’t exist IRL so we don’t know if licking would be unsanitary.
But there Is a reason why dogs and cats lick wounds.
“The enzyme lysozyme is found in many tissues and is known to attack the cell walls of many gram-positive bacteria, aiding in defense against infection.” Wikipedia
