EDIT: Actually, I just remembered that someone did draw porn of characters that I helped create. A girl with the username Wymsy asked me to create a Pokemon Professor for a site she was running. Then, a few years ago, just for a lark, I typed “Professor Cypress” into google and, lo and behold, I find a picture of her and another character scissoring.
 
Weirdly flattering.

If someone drew porn of characters that I made, I wouldn’t be bothered by it. On the contrary… in an odd sort of way, people making rule 34 of your stuff is actually a good sign. It means people find your stories and characters to be compelling.

I personally don’t get disturbed by porn of nostalgic things (unless it’s disturbing enough that I would be freaked out regardless of characters). I know how to separate what’s canon from what isn’t, and I in fact rather like to revisit them, in an adult manner or not. But I can see why some people would be upset.
