@untraceablelarry
Some time ago he was reading comments in a livestream and “TL;DR and Twilight Sparkle needs to happen, what the fuck is a Twilight Sparkle?” happened. So I made it so.
@Silent Wing
I’m guessing you weren’t there when it all started and began pouring out of /co/, reaction images taking over entire threads, people wanting everything to be pony, obnoxious rping, then it started going into real world with cringy singing in mcdonalds, special little snowflakes doing mental gymnastics to “prove” how mature and enlightened they are for liking mlp, ect. I can understand why people hate it so much. That created a lot of hate and its never going to go away so better starts getting comfy with it.
If it was my place to do so I would suggest you stop being hurt about it, ignore it and enjoy whatever you want to enjoy… within legal boundaries.
@Wizardski
I know about what’s being said in the art. Not exactly my point. I’m glad that he himself doesn’t find us to be just a bunch of low-life degenerates, but for the majority of his audience to dislike us without a concrete reason says something about the people whom subscribe to him. I enjoy him, and his content, and I agree with 99% of what he says. It’s safe to say that I’m an egalitarian that most definitely is against any sort of authoritarian movement. That being said, I don’t hate the groups that are. There are very few groups of people I hate, and those are generally the ones that cause harm to others without a true reason.
If the majority of his audience finds MLP as something to hate based off of nothing more than popularity, than I find myself hurting to be considered apart of his audience. I wouldn’t think people who subscribed to intelligent thought would be on the stupid side of the spectrum.
And no, the universal hate is not new to me, but it makes me really question the lives of the people out there that do so. They would probably get heavily defensive about any particular thing they find enjoyable, should you mock it in any way. It makes no sense how someone could be hypocritical and not see how absolutely stupid such an action is.
@Silent Wing
MLP as a whole is hated among the majority of his audience, so when the chat misbehaves he showed of twil;dr because that would rustle their jimmies, that was the joke. TL;DR said he enjoys the doodles and showed it off in a fanart vid so I doubt he meant it that way.
Also, seriously, mlp being universally hated isn’t anything new, either you roll with it and have fun or join the love and tolerate crowd trying their best to autistically defend it making things worse.
@thps48
History is simply; someone on a live stream typed “Teal Deer and Twilight Sparkle needs to happen.” TL;DR read that out and added “What the fuck is a Twilight Sparkle? Is this some My Little Pony shit?” and I thought it would be funny to make a doodle about that. After that I just keep on the lookout for anything else he does I can use as an excuse to make another doodle cause I sort of like this jokeship.
@thps48
He doesn’t seem like that kind of guy, but… I wouldn’t say he couldn’t do that. My opinion of him would drop dramatically, and that makes me sad.
@thps48
Maybe? As I said, I didn’t watch the rest because it kinda hurt a little. Here’s this guy that I really enjoy the content of doing something that hits closer to home, all for the sake that if the chat doesn’t calm down, they’ll get MLP art. Perhaps I’m looking at it the wrong way, but that’s what I read it as. I don’t know the entire story around that piece of artwork being up there, so I’m in the wrong for drawing a conclusion, but only because it has hardly any evidence to support it. It felt more personal, for no reason.
It’s, in a lesser amount, the same way I felt when Sargon of Akkad basically said that all bronies are low-lifes. For someone that strives for everyone having a voice, it sounds to me like SoA wanted to blanket statement and dehumanize. Obviously with TL;DR, it’s not to that extent and I definitely believe TL;DR is the more rational of the two, but the emotion there still feels the same. Betrayal without reason.
Now, I really have no idea. I probably should go and watch that video and see if he provides and explanation. I should just because he has some interesting points to say on other, more important topics. Perhaps he doesn’t even care and put it up because he thought it was cute. The way he said it thought, just made me feel jabbed.
@Background Pony #B80E
In the most recent stream, TL;DR put a similar piece of work up for when his chat got ‘too cancerous’. I’m not trying to seem like an edgy fuck or anything, but that seems like a bit of an insult, especially considering he’s not really involved with us and we’ve never tried to do anything to him. (To my knowledge.)
I’m going to be honest, when I witnessed him do that, I stopped watching the video. Not because I didn’t want to see his content, but because I felt like the action was made with intent. I feel impersonally dehumanized.
@MezzoDragon
Actually, “oc:x” applies to any OC of any group of fans. “oc:caroo”, “oc:0r0chi”, and “oc:wolfjedisamuel” are obviously not a pony OCs. The OC tag is, of course, absent in the use of “lucario”, but “oc” is still present if that “lucario” is “oc:anu”. I’ve forgotten the name of that red Riolu OC. X3
@semerl
What’s that supposed to mean? I am currently enjoying a nice slice of homemade pizza I spent $10 on the toppings alone. What does my diet have to do with anything?
@A-T-S
Oh hell, I’m not watching that. I can’t stand Kevin Logan and his “everyone who disagrees with me is an MRA” mindset.
Also “the guy’s name is a pretty literal admission of illiteracy”? You what? TL;DR, Teal Deer, it’s s joke, as well as a reference to the fact he tends to ramble on at great length.
You certainly seem to be on the same level as Kevin Logan when it comes to understanding humor.
@JadedGamer I think this sums most of it up. He’s either extremely ill informed with little grasp of how to research, or even more extremely intellectually dishonest. I’m inclined to lean towards the former since the guy’s name is a pretty literal admission of illiteracy.
And God bless you for that.
that… might have been me that said that….

Wast from a livestream, just a regular vid.
@Silent Wing

Mm. May as well say “break a leg”, so that there’s a greater chance he didn’t post it to haze. :3

Was it not because he was getting worked up so he decided to put up on the screen some fan art he found someplace to relax?

That makes sense.

Enjoy your diet of white bread and nothing else.

And I think you sound like an idiot.
And you sound exactly like him when it comes to trying your hardest to avoid actually researching things.

If you care to elaborate with citations to your hypothesized evidence, then I would be more inclined to lean to your side.
I’m afraid I don’t see what you mean.
I can’t say for certain he is, but if he’s not then he’s put a great deal of effort into cultivating the image that he is.
I wouldn’t exactly say Teal Deer is as dumb as a post, or anywhere near it.
