Indeed it does. Vhs does have that nostalgia value thou. One such vhs from friends house had a HORRIBLE dub of the Tambelon episodes. Grogar was ok, but others not so much… Big sis watched it in order to reboot/empty her brain for studies for the test. Should give a good hint about the “quality” of the said dubbing…

I didn’t mind the actual comment in question,  
it takes a lot more to get my jimmies rustled on ‘huhuhuh implying fetishes/sex’ comments on safe images nowadays.
 
The point of my post was expressing solidarity with Seiya-Meteorite,  
because this sort of thing used to really bug me (and still does occassionally).
 
To me its just plain stupidity and selfishness,  
as though there’s not enough erotic content to indulge in outside safe images.  
I sometimes avoid reading comments on safe ‘bedroom eyes’ screencaps cause of it.
 
Also offered them advice to just let it be, because its not a fight that can be won here.
 
Reporting when its really bad makes sense though, yes.

yeah, there’s all of one person asking people not to make any “I’ve seen enough hentai” jokes, and then one other guy making a comment about clopping. Which should be spoilered, admittedly. Everything else is people complaining about people making perverted jokes. which only one person has actually made.
 
this is pretty damned tame as far as rule 7 violations go. If this is seriously getting you jimmies rustled, then I can only pray you don’t see some of the other images we’ve had real problems on…

I’m not sure where it could be used in this thread, though. Everything’s censored/indirect enough that I can’t see any blatant rule violations… Though I guess it’s up to the mod’s discretion.

I don’t mind sexual comments on actually sexual images,  
anything that is marked with suggestive or even questionable can be fair game.
 
But I agree that it’s incredibly stupid seeing them on images like this,  
or really almost any safe image on this site.
 
I used to speak out against it from time to time because it was frustrating.  
Unfortunately, this imageboard is quite simply not capable of moderating itself when it comes to sexuality.
 
Nowadays I just tend to ignore it: let them be juvenile and see nothing but sex in the world,  
and/or presume that it’s funny to make a joke about it for the 1,000,000th time.
 
I stay because this is still one of the best designed imageboards I know.  
Also I like MLP imagery that much.

Is it just me, or does this kind of thing seem to happen to Posey a lot? (She was also the one getting spanked by the grandfather clock…)
 
I’m starting to seriously headcanon that Fluttershy’s personality is largely due to trauma left over from her past life. She also begged Celestia to make her a pegasus next time so she could fly away from this kind of crazy.
