She’s beat, exhausted, looks like she’s had a really tough time, but she’s still found something, someone to love and make it all worth it.
 
I’ve always been of the opinion that love is light and all else is dark. Violence, hatred, selfishness, those things exist in animals, mere self perpetuation of a complex physical process. Nothing remarkable. Even detestable.
 
But the raw experience of loving something does not exist in a universe without sentient life, and sentient life gives that universe meaning. It is a light which no amount of darkness can snuff. A thousand terrible acts cannot undo one maternal kiss.
 
A thousand hours of hard work, exhaustion and pain cannot make a single kiss on the head not worthwhile.

Cadance actually looks a bit like a horse here.

This reminds me of that Tom & Jerry cartoon where Tom’s girlfriend kissed Jerry, then decided she liked the taste and tried to put him in a sandwich. Not saying Cadance should go that route, but Flurry is the demon seed. Just putting that out there.
