Not that she looks like the movie, but that she looks enough like the character, but not enough like a human, to almost look like a doll, but it still looks to human for that even… its creepy…
I think we can all agree that she really committed to the look though.
Actually, I think it’s more of an uncanny valley thing…
if I weren’t lazy, I’d link to that Allan Resnik short ‘live forever as you are’, to the part where he talks about stretching flesh over rocks…
But I am, so I won’t.
It’s the facial expression. She looks like she knows fifteen ways to kill you with that tambourine and she’s just trying to figure out which one to use.
