Why was Twilight so exited about writing to Ember to know more about dragons
There are two equally valid and applicable answers; 1: Twilight was excited to learn about the Big Asshole Dragons in particular, because she already knows all she cares to about the Small Nice Dragons, and 2: That was in the comics, which are a separate continuity that has no bearing on the show’s continuity, and can thus be neatly excluded from any discussion about the show.
As I said. If Big Jim didn’t follow comics (as he admitted btw), why should we?
In the comics there is a comunity of friendly dragons living in a big pony city, but acording to Dragon Quest and Gaunlet of Fire dragons are big assholes that live far away. Why was Twilight so exited about writing to Ember to know more about dragons if she just could take a quick trip to talk with a bunch of dragons, one of wich Spike already befriended?
You’re just mad because you don’t have any rebuttal to my argument. >;P
Still doesn’t need to be revived
Five days ain’t necromancy, it’s barely a mirror under the nose.
Well, I guess that means that the show itself is not cannon, since there are slight inconsistencies all over the place.
Here’s one prime example…
Oops, I guess Tree Hugger is no longer cannon. And this is more than a slight inconsistency, unless Tree Hugger went through rehab or something. And shaved her eyebrows…
And to add to that, Rose doesn’t usually have wings, so I guess she is not cannon either.

>>>Until someone in the show outright references events from the IDW comics
That’s not events, that’s stuff’s OCs, you dumbster!
Thank you for being top DUCK.
Stop hiding, silly anon.
@TexasUberAlles
“B-but that outright reference to the comics doesn’t count! Show me another one!”
Apparently because it’s just background ponies or because it’s two real people it “doesn’t actually count”. That’s what they’ve been saying since those two appeared.
But hey, if Bittersweet and Leadwing don’t make the comics canon because they are BG ponies based on real people, then Gordon Ramsay, a BG pony based on a real person, can’t be used to prove they aren’t canon either.

Still not canon nerd
@Jumpitydude
Until someone in the show outright references events from the IDW comics
…Also, “canon” still =/= “stuff you like and agree with”, sorry.
They have never been canon.
Would you argue equally hard that the Star Wars comics were canon, and Jaxxon the giant green rabbit should be Han Solo’s partner in the movies?
(Although I wouldn’t gripe tooo much if a new Animaniacs included “Hello Nurse, Agent of H.U.B.B.A.”) :)
It is? o.O
Doesn’t change the fact that it’s still there.
Stopped caring about the multiple universes schtick.
As long as thing exists, and as long as Hasbro still has a Multiverse fetish (As any TransFan can tell you), there will always be connected.
Still, they will likely be relegated to separate universes, like IDW being set in the Primare 17.448 Delta universe, and the show taking place in the Primare 17.616 Alpha universe.
Well whatever, I read only the preview, cuz stoped caring about IDW after Nightmare Rarity issue.
P.S. I doubt Chryssy will mention something about being locked and her escape.

And she escaped in fiendship is magic 5
Edited
Well, we are going to the returning of Chrysalis and babynapping or smth.
In the comics mane six locked her in her castle for 1000 years or something.
If a single inconsistent background pony can make a whole series non-canon, then Cutie Mark Chronicles isn’t canon anymore either.
