I prefer the UK version of Kitchen Nightmares. In the American versions of Kitchen Nightmares and Hell’s Kitchen, Gordon Ramsay seems to play a caricature of himself; in the UK versions, he comes off as genuine. The UK version also has more of a focus on cooking than the American version, which seems more focused on drama than anything else.
On the other hand, the UK version of Kitchen Nightmares doesn’t have anything that can compare to the sheer, unmitigated horror of Amy’s Baking Company.

Oh crap, that episode. Amy was and is freakin’ delusional.
On a brighter note, Ramsay has a cooking show he does at home. Quiet, low-key and the man is actually a giant teddy bear, especially when his daughters are helping him.
Checked out the episode you were talking about, this is crazy.
holy fuck
the bite is on the other side
Then the burger actually turns out to be perfect, and Ramsay ends up looking like a total plothole.
