Either  
A) It doesn’t work because you’re not actually restrained, or  
B) You actually managed to get yourself restrained but then you’re stuck until someone walks in on you, which is bad for multiple reasons.
 
Assuming you don’t have a very special somepony walk in on you… In which case it’s still bad because you’re stuck until that happens :q
