It’s still not beastiality even if she was still a pony the ponies do not meet the requirements for beastiality. The mirror changes you so even if she was a pony in her world it doesn’t matter she’s a human there and there is no discernable difference in her anatomy from the humans in that world so complaining that she used to be a different species is pretty trivial when she isn’t in this world, the only time it would matter is if she went back to her world which he can’t even see unless he goes with her which will change him as well if they share a world they share the same species so there is literally no reason it matters.
So a minor plot point somehow ruins the entire series? Are you crazy?

Implication? I’m pretty sure in both EQG and RR they have stated Sunset and Flash were dating at one point.

Even if they were different species (which they aren’t since the mirror changes you according to where you go) it wouldn’t be beastiality as that is between a human and a non sapient animal that can’t consent the ponies are sapient so it would be xenophilia not beastiality.

The sad thing is, he could have been fleshed out.
But because people are afraid of their fictional character being taken away or the writers can’t make him a convincing character without phoning in the fact that editorial mandating justified his existence, he was reduced in screen time.
To be fair, Flash DOES have several character traits that make for an interesting personality, heck I could bring up some good info right now:
Flash has a sense of justice as he went to clear Twilight’s name when Sunset framed her.
He dumped Sunset despite everyone in the school being afraid of her so he clearly wasn’t afraid of a bully.
He’s a gentleman, a bit of a music nerd and a clutz.
He has a few character flaws like him not being able to cook (if Friendship Games is any indication), having a bit of an ego when it comes to his music (Banner Day is a good example of that).
He’s apparently good friends with Lyra and Bonbon.
Was considered smart/athletic enough to be picked for the Friendship Games.
And here’s an interesting thought: If he’s a Royal Guard in the pony world, that could be carried over to his human counterpart in the form of him wanting to be a police officer.
Granted, that last part is speculation at best. But you get what I’m saying, these are several facts about his character that can be used to make him interesting, all simply because I explored ALL possibilities for his character, not just the ones I WANTED to.

I think you’re just talking about a loud minority here. I mean if there are people who make that argument(I personally haven’t seen anyone like that, but I’ll take your word for it), then I’m not trying to justify them. The more negative headcanons for Celly usually blow up her flaws, same with Flash. It’s just that many feel Flash has a lot more flaws than her and less strengths.
But if it’s just dumb arguments that bother you and not the lack of headcanons themselves, well, some people aren’t worth arguing with.
