I was tempted to stop reading right there, as you know damn well that wasn’t the problem Lurks-no-More had with this image. As for semi-grimdark, that covers images like >>1198225 and >>1197182, among others, which Lurks-no-More may actually like; and oc:filly anon includes images like >>1197996 and >>1197292, which are darn cute and funny. Creating a tag like, say, dark humor might work, if people would remember to use it with appropriate images (and considering that very tag does exist, I’d say the odds of people remembering it aren’t too good).
 
“Grow a thicker skin” actually turns out to be the best advice you have, which really doesn’t have anything to do with filters, to be honest. (And for the record, I don’t have a problem with this image, though I’m kinda troubled by the apparent racism of some of the comments here.)

“Drawn on phone” would be a pretty obvious choice if “quality” is in question. “artist:happy harvey” would also be viable under similar argument, adding the fact that a decent number of this artists images would be objectionable to some audiences. “Semi-grimdark” could be spoilered, as I have it in most of my filters, or hidden (though don’t forget to do the same with “grimdark” or you’ll see unquestionably worse images). “oc:filly anon” could also be used since this oc IS the embodiment of the stereotypical “nothing is sacred” anonymous user. Or, if none of those are acceptable, you could create an apropos tag and filter it; this is a community-tagged system, after all.
 
Or, you could grow a thicker skin. I think I can safely assume some parties have no appreciation for tragedy satire.
