Chrysalis had been horrified when she saw Celestia arrive. She had foiled her directly when she tried to seek her revenge on the alicorn through kidnapping, but now she held her in her wings, a sign of trust and faith.
 
“F-For what…? For discrediting you in front of your entire kingdom…? For nearly killing you and those you hold dear…?” Chrysalis chattered, wondering if this was some kind of mind game.
 
“For everything. Equestria has plenty of love to offer. You realize you needed only ask, don’t you?”
