Couldn’t ask for a better friend really.
I have to agree with 65AA. This is obviously intended to be sexual. She gives him permission to go lower, and Spike responds by saying they are just friends. She responds by saying she senses eagerness, implying she thinks he wants some of her ass, and he responds by saying butts.
Hmm, I have to change the rating to suggestive, as it’s obviously suggesting something sexual. Even if it’s just them joking around, it’s still acknowledging that it could turn sexual.

I say it’s the artist’s perspective based on their dialogue and actions in the comic, not because I think so.
That’ just may be YOUR persepctive. You shoudn’t say what’s artists persepctive if you aren’t the artist.

That’s your perspective of the comic, if you paid more attention, you would notice small details in the comic.
From the artist’s perspective, Starlight asked Spike to go “lower”, she’s clearly implying she wants to have “SEX” with him. Why the heck would she ask him to do that if she knew he was a child? In the third panel, she’s giving him “I want you” eyes, shaking her tail at him, and acting like a cat around him. It’s pretty clear that she knows he’s old enough and wants to make love to him.
“Ages” I am of the personal opinion age doesn’t matter in fiction whatsoever. Most people don’t share that view, though, even if I just think of it as the same as “If people can enjoy mass murder in video games without killing anyone or having the real-life urge to kill anyone, then they can enjoy their fictitious pedophilia or other such things without actually doing it”. Fantasy, you know?
In this comics representation it would seem Spike is somewhere in the range of child.
As for Star and Spike, I liked the chemistry they showed in the show, which also shows here. It’s sweet. Even if there’s nothing romantic it’s still so cute to see the two as good friends.
I was hoping Starlight would pounce on Spike in panel 3, that would’ve been damn cute!
Agreed. Which is why I am thankful this series doesn’t just make characters based on their latest crushes and romances. The characters are more then that. Their’s depth, that is somehow portrayed in these short little comics, and over time, we learn a lot about these characters and who they are.
Remeber when that girl had a crush on Naruto i bet you fans said she should get over her crush and love someone else.What happen in the end her and him got married so did sakura who had unrequited feelings for sasuke.
If a crush is all that defines a character, then that’s a really poor character.
Nobody cares dude, everyone here just wants to enjoy the comic. So please take your pathetic age drama somewhere else and tell it to someone who cares.
Let’s remember that Twilight was a child when Spike hatched, so their age isn’t too far apart. But, as I said before, headcanons.
Spike is a kid. Its not a matter of headcanon but facts. There is no possibility to ever introduce his romance with adult ponies ever in the show.
Honestly, a better understanding of love in the fandom would be welcomed, if you ask me.
