It gets even better. Many would address folks in third person. So, some lord turns to his servant and goes “He will see that Our will is done”, which means “You, make sure I get what I want”.
The idea is that since they’re royalty, their will is the will of their kingdom, so they say we because they’re speaking for their country rather than themselves.

it’s like that with queens, just they’re speaking for a bunch of brits

Be that as it may, many royals in real life have talked using the royal we, over the course of thousands of years. In fact, some members of royalty still do to this day.
