If I didn’t know better, I would say you seem a bit butthurt…it’s a little early this morning for that isn’t it??
 
We can’t have the Rogue Diamond team shooting their entire wad yet–there’s still a lot to learn and discover. So far, we know that Spike can be a bit of a badass, just because he a dragon, and he’s got some stones despite him trying to be a pacifist most of the time. We also have to understand that this is like WaterWorld with pretty much the entire world one neverending ocean, so our characters have to react and evolve based on that. We also know that Rarity, RD, and Applejack are people not to fuck around with, and there are questions on Fluttershy, Pinkie, and Twilight.
 
We know that this is based a bit on Black Lagoon–we haven’t even seen Balakia yet for starters, and we haven’t got to the point where Spike/Rock officially becomes part of the Rogue Diamond crew–technically he’s still a hostage.
 
They haven’t nerfed Spike on purpose–there’s other stuff that is gonna happen.
 
I get it–you’re probably ticked that the team is making Spike the butt-monkey again after his episodes of badness with punching Ms. HugeTits silly (Admit it, everyone was looking forward to that–I personally was not disappointed). I respectfully disagree…If you had the patience to get this far in this work, know that there will be a payoff for all that is happening. And more than likely a bigger payoff then Spike vehemently quitting his job by punching that bitch.

Actually, that might not be possible. Pia herself had specifically stated that she will not accept NSFW commissions of Spike involved with other mares unless it’s with Rarity or Coco Pommel (with Rarity involved).

Ah, this is more like it. I knew Spike standing up for himself wouldn’t last too long. Afterall, how else would we have overpowered Mane6 saving the day (because the show doesn’t do it enough already) with completely made-up, over the top abilities they don’t really have, while Spike (who being a Dragon, actually has several superpowers) is just treated as the eternal doormat who doesn’t fight back because plot.
