To be fair, it’s not a category that would usually appeal to most kids. The fastest or best looking would probably be more their thing, especially since they’re not mutually exclusive, unlike traditional, if AJ’s cart is any indication.

Friendship, Art, and Magic (2017) - Celebrated Derpibooru's five year anniversary with friends.

Well yeah, most of the other ponies that entered tried to have fun. Maybe if some of the other fillies and colts were into history they would have tried to make a historical one.
