Description
Emerald calls out for Ruby, and hearing nothing asks if Joyride is okay.
“Yeah, just got one in the face by that big guys hoof. You must know how that feels, eh?” Joyride says, approaching and giving Emerald’s bandages a tug.
Emerald asks if she won.
“I escaped, yeah.” She replies with a grin.
Emerald asks why she was having such a hard time with them. He’s seen her fight dragons and win after all.
“Well, the difference there is that dragons aren’t trained nearly their whole lives and specially equipped to hunt down magicians. Even though those two weren’t full fledged members they can give me a tough time.” Joyride says, nudging Emerald.
Emerald gulps. If they were just fledglings he can’t even imagine what a full-on member of the Order can do. He asks about Uictoria and if she’d be a problem.
“Yeah, most definitely. Man, why do I recognize that name? It’s going to bug me now…” Joyride says reaching under her mantle and pulling out various clothes, “Damn… I don’t think I have anything good to take on the Order with at the moment. That’s what I get for not replacing that armor after the last time I fought them. Ah well. Let’s find Ruby and get out of this pop stand.”
“Sounds good to me.” A voice from behind them says.
Emerald whips around to see the zebra and pony guide sitting at the table, obviously curious about what is going on but not wanting to interrupt.
“Did… W-when you say the ‘Order’ you don’t mean the Order of the Arrow do you?” Loupe asks worriedly.
“Yup. Don’t worry. We’ll be out of here soon enough.” Joyride says
“They really that bad?” Nishan asks her companion.
Loupe goes into a brief explanation as to who they are. She seems to have about the same amount of knowledge of them as Hopes does, though views them with much more fear.
Emerald feels Hope squeeze him tighter.
