Agreed. I don’t see how Celestia is to blame for Luna and Sunset’s deliberate choices.

Well, the way Celestia told it, she tried to help Sunset, but Sunset refused and left.

Am I the only one who thinks this SHOULDN’T happen? Think about it. Sunset was Celestia’s student, AKA SHE WAS IN CHARGE OF AND RESPONSIBLE FOR HER! And yet, after Sunset went through the portal, Celestia just moved on. Sure we could argue that she had no way of reaching Sunset, but if Twilight could fix the portal, then why couldn’t Celestia? I dunno. I just feel like Sunset should be hella mad at Celestia for all of this and the Princess should be the one apologizing….same with the Luna situation but worse now that I think about it….

There will be three regular episode-length EG specials next year. Odds are it’ll happen in one of them.

The ‘17 movie is said not to include any EG references. However, our four years of consumer demand could potentially influence them to put Sunset in a FiM setting of some sort… It hasn’t yet, but eh. XD
 
This desire is nonetheless prevalent among a few fans. If it doesn’t happen before the generation is discontinued, that’s life. Fan fics and comics fill the gap just a little… ^3^

They haven’t made an Equestria Girls film without Sunset, you mean. We have the basic premise of the film, and this would be just as tacked on in it. There’s no reason to assume there won’t be an Equestria Girls next year.

Ok i agree they don’t need to shove it in EQG-4 but then it just must happend in The MLP-Movie it just must.

They might leave that for the big 2017 movie. Some may doubt that would happen, but they haven’t made a movie yet without sunset.
 
Plus, I want them to really take time and do this well, not shove it at the end of EG4.
