Honestly, timber above all does not deserve either twilight at all because he is awful character and awful love interest. He deserves some other girl but not with either twilight
He still needs someone to talk to, and Sunset seems like she’d be more sympathetic than his bandmates and a better source of advice than Derpy.

Timber’s kind of a creep. I don’t wanna ship him.
I kinda ship Flash with Derpy. She appears out of nowhere to comfort him, and I like the whole “normal guy, quirky girl” thing. (And if nothing else, it gives her someone to drop things on.)
She does not want him.

Human Twilight doesn’t care about Flash, and pony Twi doesn’t care about him that much either it seems, so most people don’t see Flash as a threat anymore. People ship him with Timber because they worth each other, with zero development and overall boringness (we still yet to see if it the case with Timber though).

I’ve actually been in Flash’s position. I liked a girl, she liked another guy, and he turned out to be gay and liked me!
