Perfect! Saw it, read it, sadly, it seemed that I couldn’t analyse it nearly as much as I would’ve liked to, given how it was a flashback, and primarily a precursor to what’s about to transpire with him and Ms. Harshwhinny; that’s what we’re all waiting for, what takes him from “making a delivery”, to I guess… “inserting a package”?… yeah, I’ll go with that.

Yours has been nothing if not consistently intriguing and improving tremendously in its artistic style; I won’t lie, I didn’t like the change when it first happened, preferring the crisp, smooth look of this comic at its start, but I’ve come to love how it looks, and am proud you kept at it. I can respect your work, and all it’s come to be… though I suppose now it sounds like I’m just ego-stroking for more coupons, so I better stop. scratches head sheepishly

Backhanded compliment of a statement aside, considering their story style, I’d say you’re right to expect that; in addition, they’ll likely deliver as you hope. Of course, the problem doesn’t become “what’s a satisfying explanation”, but rather, “what’s the explanation YOU will be satisfied with, and will the artist deliver that explanation?”
 
It could be as simple as “He was drunk, too”, which would work, and wouldn’t even be stupid given how upset he is about Applejack and her falling out, but I feel like there will be something considerably more satisfying in the works. I just hope I’m right.
