I love the détails on Starlight’s expression in this scene, right after the shot is blocked, she tkes a droopy ears sad expression for a second, as if to say, “Darn, she blocked it…”

It’s a bit subtle, but there are some moments in the 5th season premiere and finale where Starlight considers Twilight just as dangerous a rival as vice-versa.
That worried look in her eye here as she fails to get through the shield, for example.
She doesn’t like that Twilight can instantly memorize any spell she sees once!
