Tracing is actually pretty normal in the art world, especially for vectors (I know these aren’t vectors, but they do share the same style…).
 
I don’t think it’s such a big deal. It’s entirely an intangible - it makes no difference whatsoever to the piece, other than some random bit of trivia about it, and it makes it look better. So, meh. People who have photographic memory do the same thing anyways, it just levels the playing field a little so people with “normal” brains get a chance, too.
 
It’s all Lauren’s pony ideas, anyways, and Hasbro’s IP, so just by virtue of being fanart it’s already copying things to some extent.
 

 
I love EvilFrenzy’s stuff, though. It’s cute, safe, innocent, and his diaper style is FANTASTIC. That being said, I think he’d stand to benefit from learning inkscape/ponyscape, buuuuut this is his style, so whatevs :q

They don’t to the best of my knowledge, although they do reuse old poses. Still, they do their work at ridiculous resolutions without anti aliasing to allow it, almost entirely in MSPaint, so they get a pass from me on it.

I don’t think it will get more attention this way. People can only subscribe to tags, but not to users. and I assume there are not many people who always check certain user pages.

One of the mods worked on my tags meaning I must of made some mistakes meaning the filters might of missed it, so it’s my bad.
