Paleontology is study of Extinct animals and plant remain. While zooarchaeology is study of animals remain in generals.
Edited
Paleontology?
Okay. But we call it zooarchaeology.
To ponies, it makes sense that humans are animals :p
Yeah it’s totally a seriously problem that cause a lot of copyright holders like Hollywood losing many billion dollars revenue. Despite they already got so much money from people watching their movies in the movie theaters. And…. I think I made a bad joke here.

Privateers… Yeah, that’s probably a much better idea than the alternative.
(Why yes, that is a simple upside-down smile edited on a Petunia Paleo vector with a Pirates of the Caribbean scene backdrop)
I still suspect Cheerilee kinda cheated with her cutie mark.
We already seen that there are dishonest ponies. See Caballeron and his henchmen, or the mere presence of a sheriff and a jail in Appleloosa. However, I doubt them to be really murderous. So, I think there is surely a certain degree of social stigma in being involved in illegal activities in Equestria, and there is the possibility to be jailed for them, but not comparable to the degree of our world.
a ““privateer[](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Privateer) was a person in Europe in the 1600-1800s who would be given a license by their country’s monarch/ruler to attack and raid the ships of other countries while flying a neutral flag. they were basically state sponsored pirates.
Ummm care to elaborate some more???
Maybe she could have gotten a privateer’s license from Celestia and raid the zebra waters for the glory of Equestria?
Amazingly well-timed visual humor.
>implying people are never unhappy with themselves
A pony’s cutie mark is inseparable from their self-identity. A pony CAN’T be unhappy with her cutie mark, because that would mean she was unhappy with herself.
@PonyPon
Troubleshoes was an example of a pony “unhappy with himself”. He didn’t understand what his cutie mark represented, and as a result was miserable. It took the CMCs’ help to get him to understand what his mark meant, and thus understand himself and free himself from his self-inflicted misery.
Apparently “failing to understand one’s cutie mark” is not an uncommon psychological problem with ponies, which is why the CMC do what they do–their special talent is addressing just that issue. Wonderfully meta.
Cutie Marks have been show a few times not to really dictate a Pony’s life; regardless how much the show likes to play up the whole Destiny angle of them. They can be just something the pony likes to do as a hobby in their free time it doesn’t have to be their job.

I’m pretty sure that can’t happen.
Unless he had a revelation that watering the plants was more fulfilling than baking would ever be for him, I can’t see that happening.
And he would probably bake anyway, who’s stopping him?
I mean like somepony wanted to be a baker for example, but instead he/she got a cutie mark of a garden hose after helping a friend with her garden.
That would not only be against their whole point, but we had that already: Troubleshoes.
I’d like to see a pony who has a cutie mark that didn’t want.
