Gosh, it almost looks like she’s just got really hairy legs instead of pants.

Aside from a better option for a good guy route, I wish there was a better way to get paddleball string. You can get 100 by killing the robot outside of the mystery mansion, but other than that, you can only get like three in the arcade, then you have to wait for it to refresh.

I’m not saying the DLC couldn’t have been better, I’m just saying all things considered it wasn’t that bad. For the most part my only real problem with it is that it’s entire point seems to be to compensate for the absence of the Karma system. It does sort of further bury the idea of roleplaying in that you’re encouraged to be a raider – as you said, the ‘good’ ending is kind of a joke. But, as I said, what it boils right down to is mostly that I feel this content is $10 more expensive than it should have been.

Hopefully when Fallout 5 roles around they’ll improve upon their mistakes. It’s too bad they don’t want to make more content, because the way this one looked it seemed like they were learning from their mistakes bit by bit and could have potentially made something greater.

WARNING LONG RANT AND SPOILERS AHEAD!

They could have at least put SOME effort into the good ending but nope it’s either be evil and get a day’s worth of content or be good and have 30 minutes worth. I didn’t want to replace my settlers I spent weeks assigning to work stations and who are actually interesting (I have a mod that gives them names) with generic raiders who won’t even grow their own damn food, why would I fuck up all that effort I did for something less interesting? I wanted to lead the minutemen against this place or at least have an option to keep the raiders contained to nuka world while still doing everything else they have to offer. It basically boils down to side with the raiders and fuck up your work on the settlements and make them less enjoyable or be good and skip most of the content because Bethesda couldn’t be arsed to write anything for the other side of the coin. It baffles they would do this when it’s likely the majority of players wouldn’t want to raid their own settlements and be an evil dick and with only 3 story DLC’s in all only one of which being worth while you feel compelled to buy Nuka World for a fair amount of content only to be majorly disappointed with the lack of substance and choice. There’s almost no story besides show up kill a guy wander the park fuck up your settlements. It’s bad enough the base game makes you basically have to be a good guy but forcing you to be the good guy with no choice is not fixed by giving you no choice but to be bad that just makes it worse, You get to talk to generic raiders who either like money, gore, or brutality and that is the entire extent of any character they have they do nothing in terms of helping you and if you give them settlements you can’t make them even make their own food or they get pissed at you. There is nothing to do in the entire DLC and hell if I’ll ride the rides more than once, one time and you’ve experienced enough to never want to touch them again. The base game might not give you any choice to be a villain but at least it has interesting shit to do and interesting characters to talk to everything but the homage to Evan in Nuka world is shit and boring and you get no choice whatsoever except to help the raiders if you want at least a couple more hours worth of substance and then it’s over with nothing to really show for it. I was surprised when it said it was $20 I expected it to be $10 so I got hyped, when I spend that much money on a DLC I expect at least a couple days worth of content and an existing story but you don’t get that at all it’s just Bethesda squeezing you for your money for not much in return they used Far Harbor as a crutch for the other DLC’s like “hey at least you got one good one” and they only made 3 story DLC’s in total then decided to play up the last one to get people to buy it. This DLC is a waste of money and I didn’t even talk about the annoying glitches and bugs and mod incompatibilities.

This artwork made me stop putting it off and visit the World of Refreshment today. Thanks.

To be fair at least in this DLC we get perk related dialogue. If you have Robotics Expert, you can reprogram robots in Dry Rock Gulch through dialogue to skip a lot of work in their quests. Not sure if there’s anything else though.
