Yeah, hax.

I don’t care how much you love Trixie; she’s just not on the level that is either Twilight or Starlight. Both are OP and… well… Trixie’s kind of just an illusionist.

I still think Starlight’s stats are ridiculous. In canon, young Starlight is an instant learner and can control her magic almost perfectly. She said it herself: when it comes to magic, she doesn’t make mistake, but Twilight on the other hand, has been a very powerful spell caster and Celestia even entrusted the power of THREE ALICORNS in her, because she believes that Twilight can handle that much power level.
So I think it’s the reverse. Twilight has an absurd amount of magic pool whereby Starlight has far less.

However, Starlight has a major advantage if the game has a magic mastery progression system. Starlight might unlock higher level spells much faster than Twilight does and because of her mastery, she uses less mana, has shorter cooldown time and if a spell takes usually two turns to charge, Starlight does it instantly.

Yeah, I see that now. It’s just that at first I thought Glimmer was LvL 13, which would have made Twilight’s stat progression seem intolerably sluggish. Like, bench at first opprotunity stuff.

Then I realized Glimmer is LvL 19, so things weren’t quite as bad.

Well it’s pretty clear what the artist/commissioner thinks of Starlight with that magic pool.

It’s supported by canon that Starlight prefers using magic to solve all her problems, which is reflected here. She’s an okay character otherwise, best left in the “back row” where she can throw down a few powerful spells and unravel the space-time continuum (oops).
