Yes plants are technically living but from context people obviously meant she created sentient life.

First of all, you can edit your posts if they are not too old, no need for spamming.  
Secondly, you were not the one who started this discussion, you were not the one who first said “life”, thus you can’t just enter here with your own definition and simply overrule what other people said before. Which is why i kindly informed you that they used a different definition of the word “life” than you do.  
Third, as hopefully you understand now where your misunderstanding is, you should realize it was never about transforming one “living” organism into another “living” organism, it was about creating something sentient out of something non-sentient.

again, when someone says “life” they don’t mean life as in how plants are considered alive, but as in things with a brain(therefore also personality, memories, unique brain structure etc.)

twilight didn’t create life. apple seeds are fully fertilized embryos. all she did was transform apples into chickens.

If were following Harry Potter rules, that chick is just acting like a live animal when its really still the object it was originally. Total automatic responses of what the animal is supposed to act like, no actual life or mind to it. I suspect Luna’s spiders were the same.
