True. But then people can always seek out artists for commissions/requests. And failing that, anyone using this site has the ability to type. Granted that writing isn’t any less a skill/craft than illustration, animation, singing, or musicianship, but it does offer a common medium to get creative ideas out to others. And if that background pony has a good idea, then s/he should try develop it into something can be shown to others rather than decrying the fandom for not yet having just stumbled upon exactly what s/he wants.
