Sweet, bashful little Fluttershy has something terrifying deep down, and nothing short of Discord himself (or the other members of the Mane Six) dares face The Othershy when it so much as sticks a single hoof into the light. Nopony knows just what she is truly capable of in this state, not even Fluttershy herself, but since slipping just the tiniest bit in that direction was enough for her to win a staring contest with a cockatrice and a little bad advice was enough to make her a menace to all Ponyville, I think we’d better hope what she’s repressing damn well stays repressed.
