I’d totally count TWABA for a half-point in Discord’s credit. Without him they would’ve failed. It was a group effort.

1 - Well it’s not like they’ve done toy tie ins before so it’s never going to happen. I mean they base the toys on the show. Never the show on the toys. So the Guardians of Harmony is about non Mane 6 defending Equestria. Look what happened at the season’s end.  
2 - He saved the day from the squidking in dnd. He did his part in saving the day from Chrysalis. That’s two points.  
3 - So, it’s not counting because it didn’t have them just sitting around and chilling? Come on, they had those two and later on Auntie Twilight went to save her niece from the evil changeling who so happened to be Thorax. If that wasn’t Aunt Mode I don’t know what is.

Fluttershy does show the assertiveness she has learned before but the episode wasn’t about her learning to be assertive.

In Flutter Brutter she learns to stand up to her brother when he takes advantage of his family.

Guardians of Harmony is vs the Changelings and Chrysalis.  
Discord helped save the day in 2 ways this season. He saved the day in DND and actually saved the day.  
Aunty Twilight is how the season started.
 
So… I see it as 2 wins.

Wait. Where’s the episode where Fluttershy learns to be assertive again? I checked the mlp wikia and didn’t see such episode in the list.

Well, he didn’t really “save the day” in the season finale, it was more Thorax and Barbie Horse’s doing.

Did “Discord Saves the Day” only count if he did it single-handedly?
