Pulls out the lightsaber and charges while calling reinforcements to attack the changelings army then fighting chrysalis
And Chrysalis was queen of her hive with the Changeling Swarm.
Probably not an “idea” as much as it is something they do instinctually, the same way bees know how to build a hive
Edited
That’s one idea Chrysalis could have thought of after capturing and cocooning them back at the hive as her trophies.
They’re probably just BARELY conscious, hence the eyes opening and closing, but not conscious enough to do anything or be aware of anything, after all you can’t generate love if you’re completely unconscious. Keep them just conscious enough to respond to any mind control magic to get them to produce love
Actually, they are all under the influence of some sort of anesthesia being generated in the cocoons as none of them have any idea of what happened until after they were freed and Starlight brought them up to date on recent events since she last saw them.
I can agree with that. Seeing the Mane Six and the Royal Family like that makes Celestia being stuck in a cocoon back in the Season 2 finale seem petty compared to here.
This ain’t instant messaging. Say whatever you want to say.
My thoughts exactly. I’ll wait on seeing these again until after I get closure in the Season 7 premiere regarding the events here.
I’m inclined to agree on that. Celestia stuck in a cocoon is one thing, but stick her in one again alongside Luna, Cadance, Shining Armor, Twilight, the rest of the Mane Six, and Spike, that’s going too far in rendering the Royal Family and Mane Six to look like they are unfit to defend Equestria any more.
We don’t know if staying in the cocoons for too long causes the ponies trapped within to be mutated into Changelings themselves as it’s never been shown in the show. Only stuff done by the fandom shows ponies being turned into Changelings if they are in the cocoons for too long. They could just be lethargic, or were kidnapped when they were asleep.
One example is a comic done by Ink Rose from the Brony Reviewer Community that shows Celestia being turned into a Changeling herself from being stuck in the cocoon back in A Canterlot Wedding for too long.
When you put it that way, I’m inclined to agree because of the major change in the status quo of the Mane Cast and Equestria.
What do you mean?
Not literally, yo. MMC ended with a radical change that made the mistake of relying on future episodes to answer certain questions. Chrys rejecting friendship and seeking revenge was Starlight’s thing, although, since Starlight is essentially Bizarro Sunset, this sort of shit smacks more of one good story idea repeated ad naseum. XD
So that’s where you heard it from. Either me or someone else must have made that suggestion over on the MLP Forums since I figured Thorax would willingly cocoon them again to help them overcome any trauma they might have regarding being cocooned by Chrysalis and being her prisoners.
@thps48
Not sure I believe that the Season 6 finale was a re-hash of those episodes. It was basically a continuation of A Canterlot Wedding since Chrysalis returned for revenge for that defeat by kidnapping everyone involved or posed a threat to her invasion this time.
As in the Season 6 Finale was both a rehash of the Season 3 Finale and the Season 5 Premier? Yeah, we gathered. XD
I heard the “put in cocoons to recuperate from the events of the season 6 finale’ thing back at MLP forums.
What sounds familiar?
Also, I agree that they should have at least shown one of the Princesses, especially Twilight, being kidnapped by a Changeling before being replaced. Maybe we’ll get that plot hole answered in the Season 7 premiere.
