AJ strikes me more of a Bearded tonfas or Mai Sok San fan. Not a hammer. Hammers are Big Mac’s thing. Maybe Kanabo or Odachi or Dane Axe.

Luna: A Qing dynasty Crescent Ji would be too obvious, methinks. I’d give her a runic Langseax.  
Cadance: Archery would suit her just fine.  
Shining Armor: Targe and sharpened Jitte. Both defensive-minded tools, but can still be used offensively.  
Sunset Shimmer: A shiv or dirk or stiletto or an Assassin’s Creed Hidden Blade. Or maybe a Renaissance smallsword to go with her Machiavellianism.
