Namekians: Lower battle power, higher utility/magical repertory.
 
Dragons: Higher battle power, lower utility/magical repertory.  
Ponies: Lower battle power, higher utility/magical repertory.
 
Imo Spike would actually be that Saiyan kid who’s been influenced by humans/ponies SO much, he’s lost (or at the very least supressed) all his destructive/conflictive impulses, and thus acts like one them.

Being honest I love it all, but I prefer spike to be a saiyan because he’s actually a lot like goku in a small way, kid goku to the least.
