I’m not sure why you thought about the vacuum then, but I just want to clarify that the vacuum doesn’t allow the heat to leave, just like in a thermos. Therefore, in a vacuum, objects do not freeze. This is just fiction.
Well, to be fair, if Celestia can control heat, then she can freeze things just as effectively as she can cook them. “Cold” is just something that isn’t as hot as the things around it.
Not sure how Luna can represent the vacuum of space, but that is an interesting concept
The way I see it, the weakness of anything is it’s absolute opposite. Unless it’s an Omnipotent being, who have no weakess because if they did then they wouldn’t be Omnipotent

I always did think about that for characters that can withstand extreme heat. I guess in hindsight it comes off as silly to have them experience that

Actually, I just noticed that the chair Is dripping if you look close enough at the top and bottom. I guess since it’s a larger and more solid piece of gold, the melting process is just taking longer

Well yes there’s that of course, the air would be superheated and the gold would not be stable enough to support the chair much less a frame. She’d be on the floor
But couldn’t the heat that is coming off of her still melt the gold of the chair even if she isn’t making direct contact with it? I mean, imagine how hot the air around her would be, if she’s above 1064°C

That chair should be gone by now and those stones should be heated at least (they melt around 1500 C or so)
To put that into perspective (for those that don’t know) Steel is more then 1,500° C. And I think that’s one of the highest when it comes to common metals, and that’s only 500 degrees more then gold. And the second highest of the 4 precious metals, only being beaten by Platnum by 700°C
