Don’t watch Journey’s End, then.
“One will still die…”
sweetie belle is one of the decorations.
……… No. It doesn’t. Do you even know what the concept means? ‘Cause I don’t think you do.
Shouting’s anon is pretty much like that all the time. Still, he gave the book a happy ending. :D
Something about politics and people getting riled easily.
What DID you say, bub? XD
@aerion111
Sometimes having your heart crushed feels good, sometimes it doesn’t. “The Little Match Girl” is one of those situations where it doesn’t because of how relentlessly cruel the story is up to her death. Her continuously finding hope in what little light the matches provide only to be continuously have it snatched at the faintest breeze hurts over and over again, which I understand is the point, but always just hurt in the end. Much like Anon I say “Fuck that shit” and imagine my own happy ending.
Eh, personally I consider the Little Match Girl to be more along the lines of giving a happy ending to someone’s sad story.
She was already ‘doomed’ when the story started, it merely failed to save her life - I don’t consider it enough to spoil the good feeling of her getting some peace in her final moments.
The kind of story I don’t like is stuff like ‘My Little Dashie’; A happy story ended with a sudden death of a character (because I consider that ending to be a death, even if it’s debatable)
Let’s be honest, it’s not an Andersen fairy tale if it has a happy end. Remember “The Little Mermaid”? No, not the Disney version, the original…
I don’t regret what I said. 2016’s been entertaining for all the wrong reasons and I love.
Better than the real Christmas Story. :)
“Anon put this empty Present in front of your crotch.”
“Why?”
“That’s my gift… DO IT!!!”
