Regardless of if you had no ill intent, and didn’t mean to come off as rude, your comment could easily be interpreted as such. Someone would likely come along, take issue with it, and then try to start an argument.
 
I can see why you’d feel a Rule #4 deletion may be pushing it a bit, sure, but it does fit Rule #0 fairly well, regardless of if you intended for it to come off that way or not. It’s just a simple deletion though, we’re not gonna hold it against you, or likely even remember this ten minutes from now. Can we please just leave it as-is?
 
You’re free to your opinion and that, but please try to present it in a way that’s not likely to entice a flame war or anything else like that.

Anyway, I merely asked that comments that are well meant can be made without removal, and I got that.  
It is also unavoidable that mods delete harmless comments on occasion. So you don’t have to worry about this one anymore.

I think it’s good if among the many “pretend to not to care 2 be cool” messages on anon board kids sometimes see an opinion of “dude don’t do it, that’s dumb, things of value ARE sometimes lost through your own fault and you should take responsibility to prevent that instead of pretending not to care when you should care”.
 
Look, it’s just the way of things. People share their opinions in conversation, no strings attached, and occassionally some people may decide there is merit to those opinions.  
Why’s such a comment a problem?  
I think it’s better not to censor them and maintain some sort of balance since the dumb web culture already gets waay much positive reinforcement so for some a comment such as this may be the only one they see in ages.

or that ANOVWL is statement of denial used by ‘cool’ kids ain’t rude, it’s simply a factual statement.
 
It actually benefits kids if they realize this and get out of the “I’m so cool cuz I pretend not to care” age.
