I gotta hand it to him; I didn’t think I’d find someone using someone else to meatshield the fucking GROUND and have a high likelihood of it actually WORKING under the rules of the story and not due to a pothole - because normally a human body can’t parry pointy rocks and gravity and have someone else hitching a ride survive.
 
All superheroes that could do something like that also fly, rendering the point moot. Either that, or they really should transfer the energy to the rider and kill them anyway, except due to contact to an unyielding surface shaped like a body instead of pointed rocks.

For a second I thought Mascara’s legs were Pinkie, and couldn’t figure out how they were supposed to be working in that panel and was like “…the hell?”
