Warning : a lot of 4th wall breaking and referencing. Sharing universe with “To Love God - To Love Mortal” and “To Love Alicorn” but in the future and more crazy. And a continue story of “Crazy Future”

If you put it like that, you could say that the relationship between Rarity and her Nightmare would be symbiotic rather than parasitic with Luna and her Nightmare

I don’t believe so. I think LAJ’s attack would have actually killed her. I believe the only reason this didn’t is because the sword had the power of all six elements infused into it.

Hm, maybe she wasn’t in her own body augmented by Nightmare Rarity’s appearence, like Luna was, maybe Nightmare Rarity alchemically altered Rarity’s corpse with Nightmare Rarity’s form before transferring her soul to Rarity’s future daughter. Without her original body, Rarity within Nightmare Rarity’s newly created body could not revert to its original unicorn pony form and instead if affected by friendship magic simply alter her current form, not dispel it like with Nightmare Moon. Moon to Luna was a parasite, while Nightmare Rarity to Rarity is not.
