when i first saw this new hippogriff guy, the whole “guard” thing he had going on reminded my of my oc dragon heart. so of course, i had to draw them together.
i tried to get as many accurate colors from the blurry image of stratus skyranger as i could, and i also added a few personal details like making his armor more intricate and making him more griffon-like (since we all know that toys usually won’t be super close to the actual animated counterparts, haha). also i might be the first to draw him - at least partially!
