this is what i kill my self to tell but NO, most of fan think she aim the passing point but she aim the corners and we all see in the Movie where she Aim and is very big treat, is the gate is serioursly domageded is no way for Twilight to go home or for sunset to take over equestria, yes some fan know this but still make this joke but some never take the danger seriouce and make this joke to tell every the plan is be stupid but is wrong, is be a good but Sunset a not see coming Twilight be ready to give up her own home and people and family and friends for the sake of this world and to protect her element….well if she give the element to sunset, we will not have the cat fight 😆

Exactly. Logically she’d know the faces of the statue’s base are the portal, so obviously she’d aim the hammer for the corners which support the portal framework.

It’s a rubber hammer.

The portal has a tendency to sometimes slingshot people/ponies out of it so it’s possible that that thing was going like 20 miles an hour when it hit her which would have shattered her skull to pieces and killed her in an instant.

first of all sunset want hit were the harmmer can hit! not in the portal! if the portal is domaged he can’t work! for the joke work sunset need be too close of the portal! in movie she right place for domaged the portal! not for the harmer past thourght! sunset is not stupid! she know the way to broke the portal! a harmmer can do it but only if your in right place! or your harmmer will past!
