Well, he did say the “nice family of raccoons” recommended Rarity’s shop, which kind of implies he was still staying in the storm drain when he applied.
Though, there’s no clear indication of how long the dancers were working there besides long enough to show up on Rarity’s bookkeeping, so it’s quite possible he’s found a proper roof over his head since then.
I didn’t think he was still living in the gutter, but i digress.
At the least, he could introduce them to the stripper way of life. Show them some things that worked for him and then let them fix things themselves.
But it’s what his cutie mark is telling him.
He’s sleeping in a gutter and dancing for bits. He shouldn’t be paying his sisters rent.
Also, dude, you should totally send your sisters some cash before they get booted out of their home! Unless they did something horrid to deserve their situation. Then all bets are off.
