I was pretty much betting on Discord having replaced her, starting from around the time the “teacup-poodle” ran off, and intensifying all through their traipsing around town. I was really convinced Discord’s antics during the party were foreshadowing, telegraphing his continuing mischievousness and setting up a chance for him to learn it can have consequences, in parallel with Starlight’s less on not bottling one’s emotions.
 
Unfortunately, that theory started falling apart as soon as the other 3 got dragged into this mess, and started physically threatening Trixie. There’s no way Discord would put up with that/let it go that far (depending on how prideful/responsible one would think him)

Don’t let this fucking drama affect it’s popularity. I want this franchise to join the rank of Steven Universe, Star vs., Power Rangers and Miraculous.

Yeah… they tried to show that Trixie didn’t realize how bad she screwed up because Starlight wasn’t getting mad at her like she should have, but there’s a limit.

When Trixie was just sitting in Twilight’s throne chilling after the map disappeared I genuinely thought that some villain had replaced her, trying to get under her skin. I still liked her antics but I think they overdid it this time.

Not gonna bother reading this. The “bravo writers” I glimpsed in the thumbnail told me this would be yet more teary-eyed howling.
