I mainly collect(ed) the “1/64th” scale cars. Still do pick one up from time to time if I see one that strikes my fancy. Don’t even remember these.
 
Granted, now I collect 1/87th scale trains, so…

I only had a few Micro Machines myself - most of my cars were Lledo and Matchbox model cars. My dad would always buy me two - one to play with, and one to keep in my collection.
 
I ended up spending at least as much time playing with my sister and her My Little Ponys - it was more fun than some small metal cars. xP

I never played with Micro Machines when I was a kid. In fact, I did not hear about it until 2008. And I was 12 at the time. And there was another Hot Wheels micro cars back in late 90s called Planet Micro, and another in 1996 simply called Micro Hot Wheels.
