Another thing they could try is using magic to bend the spacetime around the ship
Yeah. Multiple micro-teleports use less magical energy, since there are also microseconds of recharge.
I’m surprised they don’t have a way to teleport a ship instantaneously from one point in space to another light years away in one jump, then again that would problem require a lot of energy
In Kris Overstreet’s Changeling Space Program story and its sequel, The Maretian, some magic is used for the rockets, but only to supplement the chemical rockets during launch, and that’s not invented until the story of “The Maretian”. The changelings and later the Equestrian Space Agency use traditional-style rockets until then. Starlight Glimmer and Twilight Sparkle also invent the “Sparkle Drive” for using rapid teleportation spells hundreds of times a second to effectively achieve faster-than-light travel once already out in space.
I don’t either, but considering they have magic at their disposal it would make sense they might base some technology off of it, especially when magic is probably a much more researched field due to its massive potential
I don’t believe in using magic as an easy-way-out to answer anything when writing fiction.
Who knows, said satellites might run on magic
Knowing longitude and latitude coordinates on a map by magic? At night, you’d be able to navigate by the stars using a compass and sextant. And a sextant can be used on the sun during the day. But really, you’d either need technology or some crazy magic spell that is explained in extreme detail in order for North/South/East/West coordinates and navigation to work at the level seen in this comic.
I prefer the option where a sufficiently advanced society (which Equestria seems to be) invents rockets and satellite computers orbiting the planet.
What about magic?
Personally I think Michael bay, rather than being director, should just be in charge writing action sequences for movies, since that’s where he definitely shines
I actually liked that movie, in fact, it felt like a huge improvement over the previous TMNT movie. (Bebop & Rocksteady were pretty well handled. Both goofballs, yet still threatening like in the first season of the old cartoon.)
Also, the Michael Bay hate is getting old, (I liked “Armageddon,” & even the first Transformers movies despite their problems) and from what I hear he was hardly even involved in the newer TMNT movies, and was just a producer. So you can’t just constantly blame him for everything.
Activision didn’t give Platinum enough time to make the game.
I think they put the release date the same as the god awful 2nd Michael Bay turtles.
TMNT Smash-up wasn’t bad, but yeah… Wish Konami had the license again. Ubi Soft & Actvision don’t know how to make TMNT games.
Yeah, they’re the best.
The NES ones and the 2003 ones as well. Seems once Konami stopped making TMNT games, they stopped being good.
No, I was too young at the time, and got the game used later, but I heard of it.
Interestingly, TMNT2 for NES was actually considered for Wii Virtual Console rerelease, like the first TMNT NES game, but it was unfortunately cancelled. With Nickelodeon owning the franchise now, I’m curious if there’s any chance the original Konami TMNT games could ever be released again.
Remember the coupon for a personal pan if you bought the game?
They even had Pizza Hut ads in-game in the “TMNT2: The Arcade Game” NES game.
I always found the Pizza hut commercial funny on the VHS for that reason.
I love that part. Ironically, the TMNT were actually sponsored by Pizza Hut usually.
It’s from the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, IIRC.
lol. Source of that gif please? 🙂
I think I like it too.
