Description
The recent magical ruckus in Equestria has attracted the attention of more than one foreign nation. What ensues in the coming weeks are some of the darkest days the land has ever witnessed as they get caught up in a violent conflict spanning half the globe. Now they must join forces with strangers or risk total annihilation. But are these “new friends” here to be Equestria’s salvation… or will they lead Equestria further to its destruction. Only time would tell the outcome of such an event, when Military Might meets the Magic of Friendship.

Yeah thats why i rather pictured a conflict like that more between the races of the different canon lands. International as that.

well imaginable, after all that isnt new combining technology and magic. The simple primitive look just was a little less imaginable here. I could imagine in the Sombra AU his army could have had such weapons. Somewhat that way at least.
This is not a human story in Equestria though. The technology presented is slightly different. These weapons were developed by ponies who also know how to wield magic as an answer to more superior forms of magic. Magic and technology merged together is a very dangerous combination, especially in the wrong hooves. And the UN, let’s just say they love weaponizing everything they could get their hooves or claws on.
for so far equestrian use of magic as weapons, the princesses vs Sombra, Twilight vs Tirek, Our weapons seem less advanced compared tbh. Not to mention the existence and more easy access to them is primitive and dumb anyways. though the meet up indeed is a question worth giving a thought
