Agreed, ponies & real world politics don’t mix. (Seriously, how well do you guys expect people to take your political opinions seriously with colorful equines from a kid/family show? “Pinkie Pie says vote Obama!” Doesn’t that sound silly?)  
I’m already seeing some bronies portraying the pony named “Filthy Rich” as Romney, and such to try to make him look “bad.”  
(Ironically, wasn’t Filthy Rich a very nice guy, regardless of being Diamond Tiara’s Dad?)
 
Don’t forget Obama is also one of those “evil rich people” to, and he doesn’t understand what it’s like to be lower-class, or middle-class, and gives lots of money to his rich supporters, and such to.  
He’s not “the savior in Liberal form,” and NEITHER candidate was going to single-handedly save this country in the end.

Anyone who mixes ponies with politics is just dumb.
