So here’s something great about this comic…..this was never suppose to be a Derpy/Spitfire comic. :P The funny thing is during the comic I did before this one I was telling people in my stream the synopsis about the next episode and how it was snow episode and how amusing it would be to have Spitfire to melt the snow. :) Obviously people did not want to see that and told me no more of those comics………….sooooo as usual I will instead do a Derpy/spitfire comic and that’s what I did. :P I told people that if you tempt me not to do a Derpy/Spitfire comic I will ultimately do one and make it work in a solid way. This comic I personally loved making cause how simple it was to get the message across and also I am kind of beginning to work on my new style. It’s probably gonna be a few months to try and figure out how to full incorporate this new style mix but currently the comic I am working on for EP 16 is kind of getting there. :D Muffin is in this comic…it’s gonna be a tricky one to find. :O
 
 
So this is was a tricky background to do in a way cause remember…I did this comic before the early released episode. That in a sense means I had no clue what the inside of Yakyakistan looked like so I only had those 4-5 second snip bits of the Pinkie episode when she visits for the first time. Now what I could have done is remake all the backgrounds but that would just defeat the purpose of keeping the fun of making this comic as one I did before I saw the episode and doing it just off the synopsis. As I said this is the fun I get for trying to do the challenge of these backgrounds. Oh and also I think this is the first snow comic I have done in a over a year. Definitely a little rusty when it comes to something like that eh? I will say that overall though I am quite pleased with how this went overall. :) Actually one minor thing I noticed like with all these comics for these episodes that sit completely dine on my computer since a month ago…..the slight adjustments I been making to the style and faces of my ponies. Hehe like Pinkie…she looks a little off a little compared to Derpy and Spitfire cause I just dont make her as much. :p
 
 
So yup…there ya go on this comic. Again I am figuring out this hybrid style I am beginning to adopt. Onward to the next ones…yup…episode break begins now too till August. So since we are on the Episode break now I will do what I do in the off-season an alternate between anthros and comcis each week. :) Simple and effective as usual. Although I have a LOT of stuff I need to wrap up from the off-season. :|
