@EyeGuy
Yea, the only problem with that is they are celebrities and it might cost Hasbro more to hire them to voice them. I mean, I guess Its not like they haven’t done it before. Jon De Lancie, Weird Al Yankovic, and soon to be, William Shatner, and of course all that are hired for the movie.
@chubbyninja89
Agreed, plus I kinda dislike the “dot-eye” baby pony designs.
I actually see Flurry Heart, and Baby Applejack’s birth certificate as an improvement.
@Twilatron217
I think the real issue here is that you’re once again making drama out of something that honestly doesn’t need it. Yes it was a bit awkward to have them speak like that, but does it really detract from everything else in the episode?
@Antonyourknee
While I personally had no problems with what we got in the episode, that probably would have worked better. Not to mention it would be nice to see those foal designs again; I don’t think we’ve seen them since “When the Sweetie Belle Toils”.
@Antonyourknee
True; granted, it’s such a minor matter that it didn’t affect my enjoyment of the episode, but it was just weird when they started talking.
@BlazeHeartUnicorn
no, as he explained in his later comment. their voices just changed because the VAs went through puberty and THIER voices changed. thus, the CMC’s voiced changed along with them as a result.
(I have southern relatives, so I can make this joke, right?)
fair enough
Jon, and Weird Al have voiced for cartoons before. Shatner even has on a few rare occasions.
How about their current voice actors continue to voice them? just saying.
Edited
i would choose Kath Soucie as both pound and pumpkin, just for the nostalgia feel

Who do you think would voice them? I can see Amy Poehler as Flurry, Kristin Wiig as Pumpkin, and Bill Hader as Pound.
That actually would be a cute idea. Flurry actually had a li’l personality in “Flurry of Emotions.”
Bonus points if the pets can talk too, like in those Arthur episodes.
I think they are cute on Pound and Pumpkin, but I cant imagine Flurry with them
I must be in the minority; I actually prefer the dot-eye baby pony designs.

I thought it was some sort of gag…like the fact that it’s just a story from the past being narrated by adult voices.
I think they should’ve used fillies like Applebloom and colts like Rumble or Tendertaps as bases for their child design.

Ok, I thought he was saying that they replaced them. I must have read his sentence wrong.

wait, were Michelle and Claire kicked off the show?
