Glad it’s not just me that feels that way. I mean, going out of my way to find these pictures at this point could probably be called some kind of emotional self-flagellation. Maybe. I never thought I’d be getting emotionally destroyed by the story of a pair of cartoon horses and the fan art surrounding them as a grown man but here I am killing it.

Let’s get back on topic. This artwork is absolutely gorgeous and heartwrenching, to say the least. The episode itself was already touching enough, but every time I see a beautiful piece of art featuring the Apple family or the Apple parents like this one, it’s yet another punch to the gut, and I honestly don’t know how much more I can take before I melt into a puddle of tears. Kudos to the artist.

I too would like to know how they died, saving their kids would be nice though I’m fine if that’s not what happened.

If they are dead, could the staff at least mention how they died and hope to God that it wasn’t in vain? A death for their children to be safe should suffice.
