Yes, 519×800 is nothing in this day. It should be at least twice the width and height to at least be close to the minimum (1920×1080)

I am highly thankful that until the past year i haven’t really had any contact with such anti fandom rule behavior. 
And i also think that only the minority fully lives love and tolerance. 
I have no idea why this happens but my guess is that there are many ‘not really calling themselves bronies’ around on the sites and also there are lots of very young people that aren’t right out of puperty. And their minds still grow and they often don’t know completely who they are and whats the world and other people. 
That’s just the impression i got.

I miss those times, too, I remember it as much more friendly on EQD when I arrived there in 2013. Today, you only need to open your mouth there and say you don’t like something, and defenders of the stuff you don’t like answer on your comment and are all like “You asshole, don’t criticize my most beloved thing!”.  
Unfortunately, the mods on EQD are also completely incompetent and often don’t see such things or, if they see them, don’t lift a hoof to do anything…… You can get insulted and attacked there and Octavia, the head of moderation there, just says “Can’t stop people from voicing their opinion” and shrugs the issue off.  
EQD is almost complete anarchy these days.
 
 
Though, I do sometimes wonder if the fandom ever was so loving and tolerant like I heard it….. There’s an old news article on EQD from 2011 where a brony officially changed his name to a pony name because he wanted to be called like this pony, I think it was Fluttershy.  
The comment section there was full of bronies who indirectly attacked him and name-called him, claiming he would ruin their lives, because they thought non-bronies would think of them as stupid for what he did.  
It was second-hoof embarrassment at its worst and later, that brony who named himself after Fluttershy even made an account and posted comments under this news article himself, expressing his disappointment over him getting attacked for something that is his own, free decision in a fandom with the motto “Love and Tolerance”.  
The result was that he got attacked even more and the bronies even demanded from him to change his name back for them, so that they don’t have to feel embarrassed anymore and completely bullied him…..  
So, I’m not sure anymore if “Love and Tolerance” was ever a real thing in the fandom or something only followed by a minority.
 
The situation regarding clop seems to be better these days, but dare to say anywhere you like Foalcon and you get responses from people who act like you raped their pre-teen daughters or sisters, over some fictional drawings and stories…..  
I wonder what would happen if a site like Equestria Daily would go ahead and just casually feature clop, including Foalcon, in own late-night compilations, to not exclude artists just for what they like to draw and their fans for liking that kind of art and to set an example for “Love and Tolerance”?

I mean, I remember the time when trees quit doing art, am a 2011 brony. I remember seeing a bunch of bronies yelling at him but never got a solid reason as to exactly why he quit.
 
My only guess is that he was doing pony porn back when the fandom was young and super against r34. Like, I remember bronies frothing at the mouth they were against r34 so bad. Which is funny because that was the ‘love and tolerate’ era and I saw bronies saying “cloppers need to have glass shoved down their throats” and I’m like “that’s not very loving and tolerant”
 
2011 was such a different time, i miss it. :(
